We've had a wonderful few days. The other half of our group got to attend flamenco dance lessons yesterday, while those who already danced on Tuesday joined some our teaching staff for coffee at the luxurious Hotel Atlantico for "cafe y conversacion."
On Wednesday night, we had a great time at the beach, playing volleyball (without a net), soccer, and doing (or attempting, in my case) gymnastics. The beach is beautiful here at night; it's cool, the sun is still shining brightly at 9:30, and the sunset is incredible.
Tonight we'll be heading on foot down the coast to Playa Victoria, in "New Cadiz." It's a beautiful beach, and in the evening is bustling with people selling crafts, building incredible sand castles, playing sports, and enjoying the evening air.
Tomorrow, we'll head to Los Torunos, a "natural park" in the Bay of Cadiz, where we'll take a guided bike tour of the land and then go kayaking. It's always a great time, and we're all very excited.
More soon.
